I'm curious about how to categorize and treat Roma tomatoes in the garden. Are they considered determinate or indeterminate? I was thinking about treating them like indeterminate types, but since they're a smaller variety, I'm not entirely sure. I plan to allocate one plant per grid space, but I'm unsure about how they might spread since they can vine. Any tips from your gardening experiences? Thanks in advance!

Roma tomatoes are generally determinate, so I've had good luck doing a Florida weave for support. I also like to plant new seeds every couple of weeks. My first batch is flowering now while the second is catching up. Just recently added more to the ground too! I'm planning to rotate them out for bush beans or brassicas later in the season. Oh, and I time basil planting before I start the tomatoes since it grows slower; it pairs really well with them!
You know, Roma tomatoes can actually be either determinate or indeterminate depending on the specific variety. Personally, I prefer the indeterminate ones, and I've found that one plant per square foot works perfectly for me!

Thanks for the tips! I appreciate the suggestions for what to grow next; definitely helpful!
