How Do I Trim My Leggy Peperomia?

Asked By GreenThumbGamer89 On

I've noticed my peperomia is looking quite leggy because I had her in the wrong light situation. Now that I know, I want to make it right! How far down should I trim her? Is it okay to cut down to the bottom? I'm also planning to use some keiki paste on the remaining nodes after trimming.

You can definitely trim your peperomia down! Just remove the leggy leaves and plant them in soil like you would with a succulent. They'll root nicely if you do it right.

When you trim, you can cut the leggy parts as far down as you want, but make sure to leave some healthy nodes so it can grow back! And yes, just pick the leaves off, no need to attach them to the stem when planting.
