Hey everyone! I don't really post much, but I always find you guys have the best advice. I live in an older home where my room tends to be a whopping 30 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. The window dimensions are 16 inches wide and 34 inches long. I'm hoping some of you could recommend AC units that would fit in my space! Thanks a lot!

What are the dimensions of your room? That way, we could suggest specific window units that would cool efficiently without overpowering the space.
A portable AC unit could definitely work for you. They’re pretty flexible and just need a vent out of the window. But I get it; sometimes they can be a hassle with emptying the water after a few hours. I guess that’s a trade-off for staying cool!
Yeah, we actually have one! It’s just a pain to keep emptying the bucket so often. Wish there was a better solution!
I’m not sure of the exact measurements, but it’s pretty small. I have a twin bed, a nightstand, a desk, and a dresser in there.
