I'm just getting started with gardening in a 100 square foot space, and I have very little experience. I'm considering growing squash, but I'd love to hear other suggestions to make the most of my first garden!

Herbs are a fantastic choice for beginners! They're really easy to grow, pests usually leave them alone, and they can even help other veggies thrive as companion plants. You might also want to consider planting onions—they're pretty foolproof!

You're on the right track with thinking about zucchini. They're quite easy to manage and provide a good yield. If you're up for a little challenge, tomatoes are popular too, but watch out for pests. Also, beans are practically foolproof! You could even try quick-growing radishes just to see some fast results.

Yeah, radishes are awesome because you can get a crop so quickly! It can really boost your confidence when you start gardening.

If you're new to gardening, I'd totally recommend starting with tomatoes and cucumbers! They’re super easy to grow, especially if you use greenhouse plants. One method I've found successful is putting grow bags in a kiddy pool—just keep a few inches of water in the pool, and once a month add some tomato fertilizer. Works like a charm!
