I'm curious about how everyone handles pest prevention when they bring home plants for the first time. I usually spray mine with insecticidal soap, let it sit for a bit, rinse it thoroughly, wipe down the leaves, and then treat it with neem oil. I'd love to hear what strategies you all use!

I always recommend applying beneficial nematodes upfront, even if your plant seems fine. It’s a great preventative measure! Just make sure to use the right kind for your situation.

Are those the same as beneficial nematodes? I’ve heard they're mainly for outdoor gardens, not really for houseplants.
