I've been using a 20V DeWalt mower for three years now, but recently one of the 10Ah batteries won't charge anymore. I could only use it once at my parents' house before it died on me. Even after trying two fully charged sets of batteries, I still can't get it started. I was really pleased with this mower initially, but I'm losing my patience with it as time goes on. My dad has a Honda mower that he was able to start easily after it sat under two feet of snow all winter. I have a lot of DeWalt tools, but this mower is my only disappointment. Should I consider going back to gas?

I totally get your frustration! I have a Honda mower that's about 15 years old. It's been super reliable, starting up easily year after year with minimal upkeep. Just recently, I switched to an Ego mower because I was tired of gas. If you have a small yard, it might be a good fit. I feel like I could’ve kept my Honda running for many more years with a little maintenance. Honestly, gas mowers tend to last longer if cared for properly!
Ego mowers are solid, for sure! I've used various brands, but the Ego's performance stood out. Just hoping they keep getting better!

Honda mowers really are impressive. I poked fun at my dad about his starting up so easily after winter—but now I regret teasing since my electric one could barely manage!
