I'm looking for effective ways to cool down my bedroom, especially since it's been getting really warm lately. I already have blackout curtains, but I'm not sure if they might be trapping heat since they don't have a reflective lining. I want to find a good balance between keeping my room bright and preventing it from heating up too much. I've also been considering window tints that can reflect heat. Any suggestions on the best setup?

Make sure your air circulation is good! In the summer, I like to put a big box fan in my doorway to keep the air moving. It makes a noticeable difference. You could also consider using a fan to help pull in cooler air from outside during the evening when it's less hot.
It really depends on what level of cooling you need. Adding window tinting and possibly upgrading to better curtains could help reflect some heat. However, for serious cooling in hot weather, you might want to look into getting a mini-split AC system. It can make a big difference if you want to keep the temperature down without sacrificing comfort.

I do have an air purifier that helps circulate air and I try to open the window on cooler days for some fresh air. It definitely helps!
