Hey everyone! I recently moved into a new place with a pretty cheap spiral staircase, and I'm finding it's super noisy when I or my neighbor goes up and down it. The problem is that the screws in the railing don't hold well because the staircase is hollow, so it rattles like crazy. I'm looking for ways to reduce the noise—do you know if there are any metal screws that kind of bond together like some plastic ones? I'm not looking for a full welding solution, just something that helps. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Here's a pic for reference: https://imgur.com/a/9eaqzjb

Have you considered using Loctite? It’s a thread locker that can help with that rattling issue.
Yeah, I've heard Loctite can work well for screws like these. You can apply it directly to the threads, and it should help secure them better, keeping things from rattling!
