I've built up a sizable collection of Dewalt tools and have a lot of pegboard set up. While I have plenty of generic hangers, I've got some concerns about the safety of hanging heavier items like my chainsaw on thin metal pegs. Are there any specific pegboard hangers you would recommend for heavier tools? Alternatively, how do you organize and store your tools on the wall?

If you're looking for sturdy hangers, I've been using Omniwall products; they’ve held up really well for my tools. While they're not the cheapest option, they provide a great solution for keeping everything organized.
I've actually 3D printed specific hangers for all of my tools, including Dewalt power tools and Stihl equipment. It's a customizable option, and it works great for holding heavier items securely.
For my chainsaws, I just made some welded brackets to mount them directly to the wall. They hang vertically and don’t take up much space. Plus, I built a dedicated charging station for my drills and impacts, which keeps everything neat and within reach.
I hear you on that! I wouldn't recommend showcasing expensive tools if you've got a garage that could be easily accessed. Around here, I prefer to keep my valuables in secure cabinets and toolboxes for added safety.

Haha, totally get that. I’m in the middle of nowhere, so my tools are safe in a barn with no windows!
