Tips for Getting Rid of Mold in My Shower?

Asked By XxCrazyFixer23xX On

I'm dealing with some mold in my shower, and I'm a bit concerned. It doesn't look great, and while I've tried using RMR-141, I feel like my method might not be effective enough since I've just been spraying it on and washing it off with the high-pressure shower head. I'm wondering if I need to do something different, like re-caulking, or if this could cause damage to my home. Any advice on how to tackle this would be super helpful! I'm not the handiest person around, but I've learned a bit from this community before. Thanks a lot!

You’ll definitely want to remove the old caulking and replace it with 100% silicone. Once caulk gets moldy, it often stains, so bleach only helps temporarily. It’s best to just start fresh with new caulk!
