I'm looking for ideas for a woodcarving to make for my dad this Father's Day. He's a huge Star Trek fan, but I know very little about it. What would be a good carving that he would appreciate? Any suggestions would be great!

How about carving some com badges? They're iconic and there are so many different designs to choose from. Plus, you could actually make a new one each year! If you want more details, the folks at r/startrek might have even more ideas.
