Do I Need to Disturb Existing Wiring When Grounding Electrical Sockets?

Hey everyone! I recently had an inspection done on my house and found that while the kitchen and bathroom are already grounded, the other electrical sockets aren't. I'm wondering if I can ground the ungrounded sockets without having to mess with the wiring in the kitchen and bathroom. Is that possible? Thanks in advance for your help!

It usually depends on how the electrical system is set up, but you shouldn’t need to change anything in the already grounded areas like the kitchen and bathroom when grounding the other sockets.

You probably won't have to disrupt the kitchen or bathroom wiring. If you're looking for a simpler option, consider installing GFCI outlets instead at those locations. Just a thought!

You can ground at the box to avoid any messy wall work. It shouldn't affect the grounded areas like the kitchen or bath.

When I had a similar situation, I just grounded a couple of outlets in each room instead of trying to ground all of them. It worked well for me without too much hassle!
