I'm curious about setting up a solar system myself. For those who have done it, how long did it take you to put everything together? It looks like it could be a bit tricky!

It really depends on what system you're working with. For my Bluetti setup, I spent about 10 minutes setting things up, minus the time I spent struggling to open a stuck window! If you're going for a more complex DIY setup, it might take longer, but start small like you would when learning an instrument—get comfortable before tackling anything big!
For most all-in-one setups, it's easier than you'd think! You mainly just need to connect the right wires, but doing your research is crucial so you don’t mess it up and cause any hazards. Hit the books before diving in!
We installed 39 solar panels on our roof, which took about four Saturdays with two people, both of us newbies. Planning was key to make the install smooth, but I had to get a licensed electrician for some of the connections to the meter. Prepping for the install can be more challenging than the actual setup!
