My wife and I recently took down a chain-link fence in our backyard that was left by the previous owner, and it was pretty straightforward. But we're stuck with two posts that are giving us trouble. One post is stuck in a large chunk of concrete surrounded by bricks, while the other one is embedded directly in concrete right next to our garage. We'd love any tips or recommendations on how to get these out, including potential methods or tools we could use! Thanks!

If it were me, I’d just use a cutting wheel to take care of those posts. You can fill the holes afterward if you’re worried about it looking messy. It sounds like it could be a hassle with the bricks and concrete, but once you cut them down, it should be pretty straightforward to fill the space. Good luck!
That sounds like a solid plan! A good cutting tool makes a huge difference. I had to cut down a few posts myself once and filled the holes—couldn't tell there ever was a fence!
Yep, those posts are definitely cemented in there. I’d recommend using a grinder to cut as close to the concrete as you can. If your place is built on a slab, just be careful—it might be embedded in the foundation too. Getting it flush will help it blend in once you’re done!
I’ve had some luck using a sledgehammer to break up the concrete around fence posts before, but I wouldn't want to risk damaging anything near the house. The cutting wheel is definitely the way to go! A decent angle grinder, like the one I picked up for around $20, would make this job easier.

True, just make sure to cut them down close to the concrete. It’ll save you some hassle when you fill it later.
