I'm on the hunt for high-quality knives that can double as multipurpose tools for bushcraft, camping, and general usage, while also excelling at carving. I'd prefer options that aren't Mora knives. Any suggestions?

I've done a fair amount of carving using an old Uncle Henry folding knife. It has a sheepsfoot blade that works well for most carving tasks, and while it doesn't lock (which is a downside), it's still a solid choice. I also transitioned to a dedicated carving knife later, like the Flexcut folders, but the Uncle Henry holds a special place for me. It’s versatile and takes me back to my scouting days!
I really enjoy using my Leatherman Charge for carving. Its blade is super sharp and has a slim profile, which makes it great for detailed work. Plus, I love the added functionality of having a saw and file built-in for roughing out and smoothing out my projects. The Wave model has a similar blade, so either is a great choice!
I have the Charge too, but I find it a bit uncomfortable for long carving sessions. It just feels off for me during extensive use.
Check out German brand Boker; they have some amazing multifunction knives that are fantastic for whittling. I’ve been using one camping, but I hear it's hard to find now because of the rosewood handles. Just search for 'Boker whittling' to find various models.
That one looks great! But is the handle comfortable to use for extended carving?

Thanks for the info! I have a Buck Stockman and a Flexcut folder too, and I totally agree with you on the versatility!
