I'm looking to put up a small 'no soliciting' sign on my front door but I'm hesitant to drill holes because I don't want to damage the door. The sign includes two screws for mounting, but I'm considering using outdoor-rated double-sided tape from Gorilla. My concern is that it might peel off the paint or finish when I decide to take it down. I've thought about screwing it into the siding next to the door, but it doesn't fit there.

You could drill a couple of holes in the top corners of the sign and just hang it off something with wire. It might look a bit off, but at least you won't damage your door!
You might want to check out heavy-duty removable mounting tape. Just keep in mind that even if it's removable, there's a chance that it could leave a mark or show a difference in the paint when you pull it off from fading over time. If it were me, I'd consider putting the sign on a yard stake next to your steps instead.
Try using outdoor 3M Command strips! I've had their hooks outdoors for holiday lights for years, and they hold up really well. If your door is metal, you could also use magnets to stick it on.
