I'm tired of unreliable cuts from my miter saw and am interested in getting a cutoff tool since I've heard it's better than my Milwaukee M12. Currently, I don't have much DEWALT equipment, just a grabo, an oscillator tool, and a 1.7Ah battery. I'm debating whether to invest in a 6Ah Flexvolt battery or a 5Ah Powerstack for the cutoff tool. The Flexvolt kit is tempting, especially since it's only thirty bucks more, but the Powerstack seems like a better match for the tool and the other DEWALT gear I own. Also, are there any Flexvolt tools that outperform the Makita 40V versions? I'm open to adopting a new battery system if needed, but I haven't found any Flexvolt tools I want to invest in yet.

I really like the Flexvolt line and have quite a collection of their tools, but I'd say let your budget guide your choice unless you're planning to dive deep into 60V equipment. If you're not going that route, the Powerstack might be your best bet!

What's your favorite Flexvolt tool? I've been sticking with Makita for saws, so I'm not sure Flexvolt would add much value for me.
