Hey everyone! I've been checking out Dewalt impact wrenches, and wow, there's so many options! I'm looking for one primarily for working on my car and some home construction, but nothing too heavy-duty. I was thinking the DCF891 (1/2 medium torque with a hog ring) would be good, but I'm also considering the smaller 3/8 versions or the atomic 1/2 for tighter spaces. Do you think these will have enough torque for stubborn, rusty bolts since I live near the ocean? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any recommendations you might have, especially if you only plan on getting one wrench.

For something compact, consider the DCF921. It's a 1/2" drive that’s great for tight spots, and you should definitely grab a set of 1/2" drive impact sockets to go with it. That'll have you covered for most tasks without needing multiple tools!
If you're leaning towards just one wrench, I'd say don't go smaller than the DCF891. I started with the DCF899 and ended up adding a 3/8" and a 1/4" because I loved it so much! You'll want something that can tackle all sorts of jobs without letting you down.
I highly recommend checking out ‘The Torque Test Channel’ on YouTube. They’ve got some great videos that compare the power of Dewalt impact wrenches, so you can figure out what suits your needs best! Here’s one that really breaks it down for you: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu1VGp-HSZs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu1VGp-HSZs). It shows what each model can handle in terms of different jobs.

Totally agree! The DCF921 is really versatile and perfect for both cars and home projects. It’s lightweight and powerful!
