What Should I Do About My Bowed Garage Wall After Adding Pavers?

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle here. We recently remodeled our pathways and placed 46 pavers right up against the side of our garage. Now I've noticed that the garage wall has gotten pretty messed up - it's bowed and leaning. I'm not sure how to tackle this issue! Can I steam the wood and bend it back? Should I just try pushing it back into place? Or do I need to rebuild the entire wall? I've got some photos showing how bad it is; the wall has shifted about 3-6 inches and I can even see inside the garage from the outside because it's no longer sitting on the foundation. Any advice would be super helpful! **[POST WITH PHOTOS HERE](https://www.reddit.com/r/Renovations/s/j8G15seMzT)**

I'd really avoid putting any more pavers against that wall. That could just make it worse. Instead, can you support the roof temporarily and consider replacing boards if needed? Although that gets into rebuilding territory, it's better to be safe than sorry—especially if you're getting ready to sell the house.

Totally agree on the supports! It’s a tough call, but getting that wall stable is key. Better to tackle it head-on before it becomes a bigger problem.

First off, definitely check out those photos; they can tell a thousand words. If you can see inside the garage, it's likely that wind or some other force could make things worse. If your wall's bottom plate isn’t anchored to the foundation, you might be able to push it back into place with a sledgehammer. Just make sure to clear anything off the walls that could fall on you. It’s probably a good idea to get someone to help just in case!

Sounds risky but might be your best bet! Just be careful when you're doing it. Always better to have someone else around in case things go sideways!
