Why is My Powerbank Only Partially Working After Soldering?

I just finished soldering two batteries together to create a larger powerbank. Instead of all four indicator lights turning blue as expected, only one light came on and it was green. Now it doesn't even charge my phone. Could this mean something got short-circuited, or is it another issue? By the way, it seems to have fixed itself somehow after I posted this!

Could also be that the batteries weren’t fully charged or there was an issue with one of them before you started. If only one light showed up, it might indicate that one of the batteries isn’t functioning properly. Taking pictures of your setup could help diagnose any visible issues.

Sounds like you might have had a short circuit or a bad connection when you soldered the batteries. It’s great that it somehow fixed itself, but you might want to double-check your connections just to be safe. Sometimes a bad connection can cause strange behavior like that. Also, keep an eye on it—if it happens again, you might need to re-solder or replace something.
