Hey everyone! I've got a GE dryer that's been making a really loud noise during every load for the past few weeks. It doesn't seem to matter what size the load is; the noise is constant. I've checked and everything is level, but it sounds like it might be coming from the side. Is this possibly a drum issue? What can I do to fix this?

Definitely check the drum rollers! They’re usually the culprits for noise like that. If you’re feeling handy, it’s not too hard to fix yourself. Just read up on it or watch some DIY videos to make it easier.
Before any repairs, could you describe the noise? Is it thumping, squealing, or something else? That could help narrow down what's wrong.
Sounds like it could be a bearing or the drum rollers that are causing the racket. You might want to check out some repair videos on YouTube for guidance. Just a heads-up: if you go for replacement parts, avoid the cheap ones from Amazon. They might save you a few bucks now, but you'll likely be back fixing your dryer every six months!

Yeah, I had that issue before! Ended up getting decent quality parts, and my dryer has been good since.
