Hey everyone! I recently bought a Milwaukee M12 Fuel impact driver for home repairs, and I got a pretty good deal that included two batteries and a charger. However, I keep wondering if I made the right choice, especially since I might need more power for bigger jobs like helping my in-laws with deck repairs or building a treehouse. Do you think I'll regret not going for the M18 Fuel instead?

I totally agree with opting for the M12! It's lightweight and easy to handle, which makes it super practical for home projects. Most regular tasks won’t challenge it, but if you dive into outdoor power tools later, just keep battery compatibility in mind!
I've been using the M12 for everything around my home and I can say it handles most tasks like a champ. Sure, if you're working on cars, you might want more muscle, but for assembly and general maintenance, the M12 is more than enough!
Honestly, the M12 is a beast for lighter tasks! I can handle my commercial mower blade bolts with mine, while the previous M12 struggled. It’s compact and versatile. While the M18 is definitely more powerful, if you don’t absolutely need that extra strength, the M12 is a great option without breaking the bank.
