Hey everyone, I'm a bit anxious because I'm having 10 yards of decorative rock delivered today. I'm wondering if this might crack my driveway. Has anyone been through this before?

As long as the truck is careful and your driveway is in good shape, you should be fine. The rock itself won’t crack the driveway, but just keep the truck away from the edges.

Got it! I’ll double-check with the driver to make sure.

I just moved 10 yards of decorative rock recently, and it took a group of us about 6 hours with wheelbarrows. We unloaded it on asphalt, and it held up fine. Just make sure the delivery truck doesn’t park on the corners of any slabs if you have concrete.

Wow, that sounds like a workout! Good to know it held up well.

It really depends on what kind of driveway you have. If it's concrete, you might want to take precautions. Putting down some plywood to spread the load can help!

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely consider plywood.
