I'm curious to know how many wired tools you all own and which ones you prefer over their wireless counterparts. For those of you working from home or in workshops, do you think wired tools have advantages, especially for equipment you don't often use? I'm finding wired tools can be more reliable for long-term use since you don't have to worry about battery life. What are your thoughts on when it's better to go wired versus wireless?

I still use my wired circular saw a ton! It just cuts through sheathing like a champ and I'm a fan of my wired table saw and miter saw for the same reasons. I usually set up my cut station close to my work area. Only time I grab a battery-powered saw is when I’m on roofs or ladders. Oh, and I have a corded SDS drill that really does the job well.
You should try a 60V circular saw if you haven’t! It really makes a difference, especially for larger projects. When it comes to miter saws, having a battery option can be handy in places without power.
I have a few corded tools, mainly like my table saw and a belt sander, but everything else is cordless. It’s just easier to move about when I do my work in different locations. That said, I find for heavier-duty tools, corded just works better regardless of the hassle with cords.
I prefer corded for big jobs. My corded miter saw and sander have way more power than their cordless counterparts. Sure, cordless stuff is great for mobility, but sometimes you just need that consistent punch of power for heavier tasks.

Totally agree! I’ve got a few wired sanders, but most of my other tools are cordless.
