I'm having a tough time with my garden this year and want to make sure I'm doing everything right. I'm gardening in zone 6A and this is my first year in a community garden. I was told the soil was amended with compost, but I've only tested the pH, which was fine. Given the weather conditions like cold temps and heavy rains, I'm concerned about my plants which have been showing some yellowing. I've used GardenTone around my plants and mixed it into the soil before planting some seeds. Now I'm wondering if I can also use fish fertilizer, specifically a liquid one, or if that might be too much. Is it better to stick to one type of fertilizer, or can I safely use both?

Fish emulsion is perfect! It's mild enough that it won't stress your plants, so go ahead and add it. You should see some good results without overdoing it.
You'll be totally fine using both! I use Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1 for all my leafy plants to boost green growth and apply GardenTone 3-4-2 when I first set up my garden. After a while, I topdress with GardenTone every 45 days. When I water with the fish fertilizer, I also sometimes make a tea from GardenTone, steeping 1/4 cup in a gallon of water for 24 hours. It's worked wonders for me!
