I just picked up a used Yeti 400, but I'm finding that the battery might need replacing. I'm curious about which batteries are the best options to get, specifically looking for one or two that would work well. I heard that I could potentially get a larger capacity by using one internal and one external battery. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Your Yeti 400 runs on a standard 12v AGM lead acid battery. So, you could buy any off-the-shelf AGM battery that fits in the case. There's a ton of helpful videos on YouTube showing what options others have used, which should give you a good idea of what to go for.
I had to replace mine and found a new battery at Interstate Battery. Just a heads up: be careful with the AC maximum of 300W. If you push it too hard, it could blow the internal fuse, and that’s a bit of a hassle to fix since it’s soldered in. Overall, it’s a solid device, just keep an eye on the wattage of whatever you plug in.
If you just got it recently, the battery might be fine—you could just need to charge it up. But if it turns out the battery is defective, you might want to look into the warranty. These things are typically good for a long time under normal use.
