Looking for Organic Compost on Amazon without Peat or Coir

Asked By NatureLover88 On

Hey everyone, I'm on the hunt for some organic compost that I can get from Amazon, and I'd really prefer it to be free from peat and coir. I'm already familiar with the Coast of Maine products, but I'm trying to find something that's OMRI certified or has undergone independent testing. I'm located in Baltimore and have had no luck finding anything locally. Any recommendations would be super helpful. Thanks a lot!

You might want to check this out—these guys sell compost through Amazon and they’re OMRI listed!

Thank you! I ended up buying the cow manure from them.

Depending on where you are, local options can vary quite a bit. Where I live, I use Fox Farm Happy Frog Soil Conditioner and Kellogg's Garden Soil. Keep searching, I'm sure you'll find a local option in your area soon!

Have you checked out Leafgro? It's basically bagged leaf mold and could be a good substitute for compost.

Have you considered using worm compost or castings? They can often be found locally, and they make a great additive to your soil while you continue your search for compost. Lots of brands out there!

Thanks! I actually bought some worm castings. Just need that compost now for Mel's mix in my square foot garden.
