I'm currently using a 5.0 battery with my 2.0 gallon vacuum, but it only lasts about 10 minutes on a charge. I'm considering upgrading to either an 8.0 or a 12.0 battery for better longevity. From your experience, which one would be the best choice for longer run times?

Going for the 12.0 is definitely a smart move if you're looking for longer use. It's more powerful, but keep in mind it might be a bit heavier. If weight isn't an issue for you, I say go for it!
Yeah, I've seen mixed reviews on the different versions. Just make sure it fits your vacuum well!
