I'm tired of "wire-free" security cameras that keep dying on me! I've tried a Eufy before, which had fantastic image quality, but the solar panel just couldn't keep up with my needs. Arlo was similar; during cloudy weather or winter, its battery barely lasted. Recently, I tried the Baseus S1 Pro and I'm really impressed! It's been about three weeks since I installed it and the battery is still at 95% despite motion alerts and playback. What really caught my attention is its moving solar panel that tracks sunlight! Has anyone else tried something like this? I'm curious if this battery performance is typical or if I'm just lucky. How much did your solar cameras cost you?

I'm a fan of my Reolink camera too! Even with the spotlight used at night, it keeps going without dying. It's been doing great and I'd recommend it if you're looking for reliability!
I've got a solar camera that only needs about 2 hours of sunlight to last all day, no complaints! It's super convenient for me.
I have Eufy cams as well! They work wonderfully as long as they're placed where they can catch some sun. I live in a pretty cloudy area, yet one of my cameras has lasted two years without needing a charge. However, my other one is in a shaded spot, so I charge that one only a couple of times a year. Maybe OP got a faulty unit?
I've had Ring cameras with solar panels going for years now, and they haven’t needed a charge in over two years! Even with extreme weather here in the Midwest, they keep working well. Definitely a solid choice!

Mine isn't in the best spot either, but it stays fully charged every day, even with the highest settings on recording and lights. Seems like you might have a case of bad luck with your camera.
