I'm facing a serious issue with heat in my attic, which is located at the same level as my upstairs bedroom. We access it like a closet, and it gets incredibly hot, making the bedroom uncomfortable even with central air conditioning and a window unit running. Are there any good options for insulating the attic or making it more bearable during the summer months?

Insulating the wall between your bedroom and the attic is a solid start. I had the same issue, and after doing that, things improved a lot. Just make sure you're keeping that space well insulated!
