I'm looking for suggestions on ground covers that can spread quickly in both shady and partially shady areas, as well as in spots receiving full sunlight. I recently planted some Lamb's Ear, and it's doing great! However, I want to find something that spreads even faster since I'm renting and unsure how long I'll be able to enjoy my garden. I thought about using Ajuga, but I've read some comments indicating that it tends to be slow-growing. Any recommendations? By the way, my soil is clay, but I'm open to making amendments.

Persicaria is a great choice! It's known for spreading quickly and adapting to various conditions.
If you're looking for options, Hardy Geranium, specifically Rozanne, has been fantastic for me. It established quickly and has been spreading nicely!
Sweet Woodruff is another option that spreads quite well, especially in shady areas.
You might want to try Ajuga reptans and Lamium maculata; both of those can spread a lot, especially if the conditions are right. I've had good experiences with Vinca minor too.
I've had success with Petunias in sunny spots; they seem to spread like crazy!
Rubus tricolor can be a powerhouse when it comes to spreading; it really does cover ground fast!
Don’t forget about Variegated Vinca major! It’s a quick spreader too, but be mindful since it can get a bit aggressive.
