Hey everyone, I've noticed a significant drop in the number of bees this year in Glasgow. It's quite baffling since I have a wildflower meadow planted for them, yet I'm mainly seeing wasps and midges. Has anyone else been experiencing this lack of pollinators? I'm curious if it's a widespread issue or just in my area.

Over in Fife, there are plenty of bumblebees around, though not many honeybees. The bumbles are all over brambles and eryngium.
Yeah, it’s cool to see bumbles active, but it's a bit concerning there aren't more honeybees!
I've actually seen quite a few bees in my garden here in West Yorkshire, much more than last year! It seems like they’re thriving in this area.
Yeah, it seems like West and South Yorkshire are doing great for bees this year!
It might just take them some time to fully discover your new garden setup. I decluttered my garden last year, and now this year it’s buzzing compared to before!

I’ve noticed the same! Lots of bumbles but only a couple of honeybees.
