I just built some quick doors for my pool shed out of plywood and 1x4s, and I love the look of the natural wood! I'm wondering if I can simply apply some paste wax over them to protect them from the elements, or should I consider a more durable finish?

Haha, I definitely half-assed the doors! They were originally some old, rotting particle board. I just needed something to last until I can build a proper shed next summer! Fingers crossed!
