My room faces the sun in the morning, making it even hotter. Usually, I would just leave to cool off, but I have to work from home this summer, and I need to use my PC in my room. The heat is unbearable—I'm sweating so much that my clothes get soaked, and that's not ideal since I often have to turn on my camera for meetings. I'm a student with a minimum wage job and live with my parents, so I can't afford any big renovations. I mentioned it to my dad, but he doesn't seem to care. I'm worried my computer and laptop might overheat. I've tried using fans, but they just blow warm air, and ice packs melt too quickly. Is there an easy and budget-friendly way to cool down my room? You could try using foil to blackout the windows and even tack old blankets to the walls to keep heat out. I’ve done that before, and it can help a lot.
