Hey everyone! I've always been passionate about woodworking and have spent my life crafting various projects using lumber and plywood. However, I've never really focused on precision in my work. My goal is to eventually make furniture, but I haven't had much hands-on experience despite watching countless YouTube tutorials. I received a table saw for Christmas, and I already own a plunge router and several other tools, but I'm missing a few key pieces like a jointer, thickness planer, drill press, and band saw. I'm looking for advice on what my first steps should be. Should I focus on building a workbench to create a solid, flat surface for my projects? Currently, I'm just using my toolbox top, which isn't cutting it. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

Definitely make a sled for your table saw, they're super useful! I've got three different sizes that I rotate based on what I'm cutting, and they save so much time. One smaller sled is perfect for quick cuts, while the larger ones handle bigger pieces when I need them. You'll find you'll use it more than you think!
