I'm curious if anyone else is having a tough year in their garden. I've been gardening for about six years now and normally, I've had some pretty low-effort years with great results. However, this year, despite putting in a lot of effort, things just aren't growing like they should. Plus, I'm dealing with pests like slugs and some neighborhood cats and squirrels wreaking havoc. Am I the only one struggling this year?

Last year was pretty rough for me too, but this one is looking better so far! Just remember to take it easy with gardening. Sometimes it's like sailing—if the wind’s not in your favor, you just have to adjust your sails. Maybe treat yourself to a pub visit and gear up for next year's planting!
This is my first gardening venture, and while I can't say it's been sad, it’s definitely a learning experience! I’m grappling with constant weeding and trying to figure out budget-friendly ways to spruce up my concrete areas. It’s all part of the journey, right?
Hang in there! I've experienced a chaos of bugs and bad weather over the years too. This year, my lovely Mum helped out too, but she took almost all the flowers off my clematis—thankfully, I've learned that gardening requires patience. There's always next year to look forward to!
