Hey everyone, I'm curious about the differences between the XR and Powerstack batteries, specifically when comparing the 5Ah versions. Can anyone share insights on their performance, runtime, durability, and lifespan? Is one better suited for certain tools than the other, or does it not make much difference in practical use? Thanks!

Yeah, it’s true that XR batteries are now referred to as ‘Max’, while the Powerstack and Powerpack are the only ones branded as XR currently. It's all about the labeling nowadays! There’s also a footprint difference: a standard 5Ah has a smaller base but is taller than the PowerStack, which can be handy for certain tools like nailers. In terms of performance, the PowerStack puts out power similar to a larger FlexVolt, making them more efficient for high-output tools.
