I accidentally twisted the tracking knob on my Lumberjack BS340 bandsaw too much and heard a loud pop or bang. Now the knob is loose and I can't adjust the tracking properly. What kind of damage do you think I've caused?

It's hard to say for sure without more details. Pull the cover off and take a look inside. Were you turning the knob in or out? Is the knob itself loose on the bolt or the bolt just loose? Also, see if the upper wheel is moving properly or if it's stuck.
It sounds like you might not have damaged the saw itself, but there's a good chance you either snapped the blade or it jumped off the wheel. Check those first!

Yeah, I had a similar issue once. My blade wasn't actually snapped, but a part came loose behind the top wheel. Definitely investigate that area!
