How to Find Local Woodworkers for Custom Board Game Tables?

Asked By CraftyExplorer42 On

Hey folks! I'm on the hunt for a woodworker to create a large board game table that can double as a dining table. I'm located just south of Boston, MA, and I'm curious if anyone has recommendations or knows the best ways to connect with local woodworkers who take on commissions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to check out local woodworking clubs or groups in your area. If that doesn’t yield results, reach out to custom cabinet or furniture makers and ask if they know any woodworkers open to commissions. They often have great connections!

Have you checked the local Facebook groups? Just make sure to post a clear description of your project along with your budget to get the best responses!

Finding a local maker space could be a game changer! Reach out to them and ask for recommendations; they often know skilled woodworkers who do commissioned work.

You could also explore Instagram and Facebook for local woodworking clubs. They are usually in the know about who does quality work and who’s available to take on new projects. Wishing you the best of luck with your search!

Thanks! I’ll start looking there too.
