Need Help Making a Birdbath Fountain Liner

Hey everyone! I'm working on a DIY project to fix up an old cracked birdbath fountain I found at my dad's place. I used Quickrete to repair it, and it's holding water now! However, I'm struggling with keeping it clean and safe for birds. I'm thinking about creating a removable liner for the basins. I'm considering using a sheet of ABS thermoplastic, but I'm not sure if that's the best option. Are there any downsides to that, or do you have other suggestions for making a bird-safe liner? Thanks in advance for your help!

How about using silicone baking mats? They can be cut to shape, are flexible, and super easy to clean. Plus, they’re bird-safe!

Rubber pond liners are a great choice for this! They're made specifically for durability, they're safe for birds, and you'll find they're easy to rinse out whenever you need.

I like that idea, but I’m leaning towards a rigid liner that I can easily lift out to clean it. What do you think?
