What Should I Do After It Rains on My Rose Fungicide?

Hey everyone! I typically avoid using synthetic products, but I've been struggling with mildew on my roses. I finally decided to try out Provonto Fungus Fighter, which contains Trifloxystrobin and Tebuconazole. However, I realized too late that rain is expected tonight, just 3-4 hours after I applied the spray. Should I reapply it in a week, or would that be too much? I'm worried about potentially scorching the leaves, but I'm also unsure how much of the spray will wash off. Lesson learned about checking the weather! Cheers!

You're definitely not alone in this! I've made the same mistake more times than I can count! If your spray had a few hours to dry before the rain hit, there might still be some benefits left. I’d suggest waiting about 5-7 days before checking for new mildew spots and then consider reapplying if needed. Just avoid stressing your plants by over-spraying. I’ve switched to more bio-based products lately; they tend to hold up better in wet conditions. If you’re curious, I can share which ones have worked for me!

I'd really appreciate your recommendations! I’ve been using sulfur on my roses for prevention, but I've had a pretty bad outbreak lately. Thinking about trying baking soda as an eco-friendly option, but with all the mildew and sawfly damage, my roses are struggling!
