Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to woodworking and I'm curious about the best tools to use for accurately measuring and finding the center of a round piece of wood. Any recommendations would be super helpful. Thanks!

You might want to check out a transparent center finder. It allows you to draw a line through the middle of your circle easily. Just draw one line, turn the tool, and then draw another; where they intersect is your perfect center.
The size of your wood piece matters too! For smaller circles, something like a center finder tool would work perfectly. If it's a larger piece, like a big 4-foot circle, you may need different methods. There are plenty of guides online for various techniques to find the center effectively.
There’s a gadget that can be attached to a Combination Square. Some of them can get pretty pricey, but they’re really handy. You can also find standalone center finders that are designed specifically for this. They work by creating a right angle that sits against your circle and has an arm that helps scribe two lines, finding the center where they cross.
