What’s the Average Cost for a Complete Plumbing Re-Pipe with PEX?

I just bought an 800 sqft home, and the plumbing situation is really bad. I'm looking to remove all the old pipes and replace them with PEX, but I've been getting quotes that vary widely. What should I realistically expect to pay for this job? The house has one floor and one bathroom, and the drain lines don't need any replacement. The crawl space is comfortable and easy to access. For context, there are all sorts of pipes from since the 50s, I have to wait ages for hot water, and there are some drips here and there. Just trying to figure out a ballpark figure for the cost. Thanks! Oh, and I'm located in a southern state.

I can't give you an exact cost since I did my own plumbing overhaul with PEX, but if you're going all in on a re-pipe, definitely consider installing a PEX manifold. It can help make the water flow more efficient throughout your home! Just a little tip from my experience.

Thanks for the suggestion! I thought about tackling it myself, but plumbing isn't my strong suit. Plus, I need to keep the water flowing for everyone else in the house.
