Tips for Transporting Large Tile Sheets?

I'm looking for advice on how to safely transport three large pieces of tile that are each 9ft by 4ft. They're located about 45 minutes away, and I want to make sure I handle them correctly during the trip. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Building an angled rack could really help during transport. Make sure to put some carpet or rubber strips between the tiles to avoid scratching. Renting a U-Haul with a ramp is a good idea too; you just gotta strap the tiles down to keep them secure. Just be careful on slopes and steps when loading or unloading – they can be tricky!

Consider reaching out to a local glass company or a countertop supplier. They might have the right equipment to help you haul those big tiles. Also, you might want to get some extra muscle to help carry them, I recommend having a few friends on standby!

I might just do that! Thanks for the suggestion.

Honestly, if you can, hire someone to deliver it for you. Trying to transport those big tiles can potentially lead to breaks, and it might end up costing more in the long run if you damage one. But if you have to do it yourself, you’ll need a truck that can hold them vertically and maybe some tile braking suction cups if you can borrow or rent them. Do you have any help available for the lift?

I actually can't get it delivered, so I'm hoping to figure out a way to do it myself.
