Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on the best fast-growing evergreen trees to plant in my south-facing garden. It's a beautiful space but unfortunately, it's overlooked by a large block of flats. I understand that depending on how tall the trees grow, it may take a few years for them to really provide privacy, but I'm good with that. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

One thing to remember is that while fast-growing trees can provide quick privacy, they can also become hard to manage once they reach a certain height. For example, Leylandii can be quite difficult to handle. Maybe check out some alternatives that are less of a hassle!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm really new to all this, so why is Leylandii considered bad?
