Can I Connect Eco-Worthy Batteries with EG4 in Parallel?

I have some EG4 48v batteries and Eco-Worthy batteries, and I'm wondering if anyone here has successfully connected them in parallel to an EG4 inverter while adding the RS485 communication. I know both battery types have their own RS485 protocols—does anyone have experience with changing the protocol on the EG4? I've managed to connect the Bluetooth app to the Eco-Worthy batteries, and it seems like I can change the protocol through the app. Would love to hear your thoughts!

You could set both your EG4 and Eco-Worthy batteries to the Pylon protocol, and it might work, assuming you have all the jumpers set correctly. Just a heads up though, Pylon can be pretty complicated, so there could be some differences. If it doesn’t work out, you might want to consider connecting just one brand of batteries to the inverter. The total capacity info might be off, but the State of Charge (SoC) should still be pretty accurate.

Thanks for the quick reply! I’ll keep experimenting and update everyone. For now, I'm leaning towards the single-brand connection.
