I've been working on fixing some peeling paint and cracks in my bedroom's drywall. After sanding, I'm struggling to get rid of all the dust from the walls. I've been rinsing my cloths and changing my water bucket often, but all I end up with is a fine layer of dust all over the walls. Am I missing something obvious here, or do I really have to wipe down every wall multiple times before I can start painting?

You might want to try using clean water with a large damp microfiber cloth that's attached to a flat mop. They sell versions at places like IKEA that work really well with Velcro pads for this kind of job. It makes the cleaning process a lot easier!
I suggest washing the areas with drywall dust last. Make sure to use clean water and a fresh cloth for the other sections. Drywall dust is super fine and can easily spread in water. Once your bucket starts looking cloudy, get a fresh one or you'll just be pushing the dust around!
Is this really a question? You just need a wet washcloth! No need for any fancy microfiber stuff, a regular old rag should do the trick.

Tried the regular rag and it's still stuck on my wall! That's why I came here—thought this would help!
