I'm considering the Lowe's deal where you can buy two tools and batteries for $299. I'm wondering if it's still possible to return just the batteries and charger while keeping the tools at a prorated price since I really don't need the batteries or charger. Has anyone tried this recently?

I returned batteries and a charger about a week ago without issue. Just make sure your receipt shows the prorated price, and you should be good to go! However, I did this for a different promotion, so it might vary now.
I heard that the latest update to the Lowe's app makes it so they don't show prorated prices anymore. Just a heads up—if you want to keep those prices in view, you might want to avoid updating it.

Yeah, I checked my app too. Even with an older version, I couldn't see those prices, so I think it's definitely a backend change.
