I'm on a quest to find indoor plants that have that charming, alpine aesthetic, although I know true alpine plants are tricky to grow in my environment. My connection to plants stems from my complicated relationship with nature, especially due to seasonal depression during summer. I'm hoping to find plants that not only look like they belong in temperate forests or cold mountains but also thrive year-round instead of going dormant in the summer. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out the Norfolk pine! It has that alpine vibe. Also, have you thought about bonsai techniques? You could try growing an alpine tree from a seedling and shaping it like a miniature version of a big tree. It could be a fun project and really bring that alpine feel indoors!

That's a cool idea! But what if you can’t provide the right light or temp cycles?
