I'm getting ready to sell my house and had originally planned to create a big garden bed, but now I just want the front yard to look decent. I'm thinking about making two small garden beds around my driveway and I need to know the best way to kill off some grass for that. Plus, I have some rose bushes that I need to relocate since I won't be making that large garden bed I initially planned along the sidewalk.

Honestly, I wouldn’t stress too much about it. Just keep everything tidy, cut the grass, and leave the landscaping to the next owners. It’s not worth the hassle!
I’d recommend laying down some cardboard over the grass and topping it with fresh mulch. It’s super easy and really effective for creating those garden beds without much hassle!
Honestly, the new owners will probably change up the yard anyway, so just make it look presentable. Don't overdo it since it probably won’t affect the selling price much. If you’ve got roses, maybe just move them and mow down everything else? Keep it simple!
Totally agree! If your house is already priced well, a little tidying up might be all you need.

Yep, that method works great! Just add garden soil and water after you've set it up.
